Welcome to the home of the Top Rod Solo trail. All tournaments are individual tournaments, no partners, no co-anglers! We fish once a month on North Alabama lakes and culminate the season with a championship event on Smith Lake in November, 2012. Payback is structured so that when you win, you actually get a decent check, and you don’t have to split it with a partner! Winners of each tournament are guaranteed $500 or more regardless of number of entrants thanks to our great lineup of sponsors!! $500 or more GUARANTEED FIRST PLACE in ALL TEN EVENTS! We have $500 added to each tournament purse from sponsors for a payback of well over 100%. We also have $500 added to the Angler of the Year purse and $500 added to the Championship Event for a total of $6000 to be paid out from our sponsors.

You DO NOT have to fish all 10 tournaments to be the Angler of the Year or make the 2-day championship. Only your best finish at each of the 5 lakes on our schedule count towards AOY and to make the championship, you only have to fish one tournament at each of the five lakes.
